WALEED   AL-BASSIT

Born ahead of his time, Waleed Al-bassit was considered an "old man"
not to long after birth. Waleed Al-bassit was born in Hobbs, New Mexico.
Shortly after, he and his family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico until he
was thirteen years old. From the start, Waleed's family could tell, he is what we
all, might want to call "extra special". At an extremely young age, Waleed was
known in the family as "the philosopher". From the mere age of three, he would
pontificate, discuss issues and events that were way beyond his years and verbally
solve each one to make the world a better place to live. To this day, Waleed's family
continues to marvel and be amazed at how even a young tyke, Waleed had a "no holds
barred", as long as he was speaking the truth, attitude. Not only did Waleed come from
a house of thinkers, he also came from a musical background. With many instruments
around the house and a father who had his own band, it was a natural succession for
Waleed to be musically talented as well. At age thirteen, Waleed and his family, moved
from Albuquerque, New Mexico to, Inglewood, California. To establish himself in his
new home, Waleed quickly acclimated and busied himself in school by running track,
playing basketball and even caught a bit of the "acting bug", took a deep breathe and
joined the Drama department! To further discipline himself for his future endeavors,
Waleeds' decision to join the ROTC is one decision he has not had to regret.
To this day, he still appreciates what the ROTC has instilled upon him. Although
Waleed's new life kept him extremely busy, he never forgot his musical roots.
His horn still had a special place in his life, so he took his talents to El Camino
College to play in, not only the concert band but in the Jazz band as well.

Waleed continues to carry what he refers to as, "self-discipline", into his
personal life and marries, who he calls his "first love" just a couple of years
after high school. From this union, Waleed and his wife have produced what he
says is the, "best experience", that has ever happened to him. His two perfect little
girls are "the center of his universe" and he is madly in love with them. When asked
what his goals and aspirations are in life Waleed, makes no hesitation in stating that
he is going to "take over the world with a just iron fist, to create world peace on a
spiritual level". He holds no bars and articulates quite clearly, about his long and short-term
strategies and steps to accomplish world peace on a spiritual level. With his accomplished
background in music Waleed has enlisted himself and joined forces with those who believe
in the same concept as Edmund Burke who quotes, "All that is necessary for the forces of
evil to win the world is for a enough good men to do nothing" Waleed is cognizant that there
is a tremendous amount of opportunity to influence the masses with music and media.
Hence his goal is to get his "hands on both ends of it". Because of his early background
in music, Waleed has been able to draw from it and has begun to compose his own
lyrics for world peace, personal empowerment and spiritual conscienceness. His plans
are to independently produce his world changing music and use the internet as a
catalyst to market his message of peace all over the world. Synchronicity is what most
would have called it, some would use the term, coincidence and others, divine
timing or even happen stance, when Waleed encountered the owner and founder
of BOTTOMLINE PRODUCTIONS who produces THE JUST US SHOW. It was not
just an immediate business or familiar connection between Waleed and the
producer, it was the same goal oriented thinking. The producer wasted no time
in asking Waleed to come on board THE JUST US SHOW and in kind Waleed
gave an affirmative answer. At present, Waleed has acquired the position of
host and co-writer of THE JUST US SHOW, where he can now begin his own
personal efforts to accomplish some of the very same goals as those who have
taken on the task of doing what he too, knows is good and right for the world
as he has always believed he would. So get ready to live in a place of peace
because Waleed Al-bassit is about to take over the planet!!!
