AFRICAN CULTURAL AMBASSODOR APPOINTMENT: 

April 28, 2007 to April 28, 2017

 

MR. EL I JAH  MALACHI X MOTHERSHED BEY

 

For Immediate Release:

 

As an individual who has demonstrated a strong commitment to Africa through an extended
visit with the people of Africa and through ongoing efforts to improve the condition of the
people of Africa, we the Board of The AFRICAN CULTURAL EXCHANGE, do hereby
appoint Mr. Elijah Mothershed Bey as an AFRICAN CULTURAL AMBASSADOR.

 

In his capacity as such, we encourage his continuing efforts to promote a positive image
of Africa, the continent and its people.  We further encourage him to share with others the
experiences he has gained in Africa through writings, speeches, film making, and other
activities over the upcoming decade. 

 

It is hoped that by sharing the experiences, such as the unique and intimate connection
gained in Africa by Mr. Mothershed bey, that a greater appreciation for the beauty and
depth of the culture of Africa and Africans can be appreciated by the world.  We thereby
hope that some of the problems of the continent can then begin to be solved.

 

Once again, join us in welcoming and supporting Mr. Mothershed bey as an
AFRICAN CULTURAL AMBASSADOR for THE AFRCIAN CULTURAL EXCHANGE
in his mission toward sharing with others the message of the splendor Africa.
