PRODUCTIONS
From the perspective of thousands of mutilated survivors of Sierra Leone, comes the compelling
documentary, “Rising from the ashes of war: The Re-branding of Sierra Leone”. This film exposes the real life
of Hollywood’s“Blood Diamond” dramatization.
Elijah Mothershed, an independent film producer, interviewed the people and captured not only the devastation
of eleven years of war but also harnessed the strength and hope of the peoples challenge to rise again, as a strong
democratic nation. Mothershed founded Bottomline Productions as a multicultural, grass roots production company
to create documentaries and other media vehicles, to draw attention to social problems in our global community.
Bottomline Productions has established affiliations with non-profit organizations such as War Against Hunger (WAH),
The African Cultural Exchange (A.C.E.), The Sierra Leone Indigenous Business Association (SLIBA), Global Network
For Disabled People S/L Chapter (G.N.D.P.SL), Shelter for Africa, as well as the Government of the Republic of
Sierra Leone, to promote the rebuilding efforts of the country of Sierra Leone.
Mothershed and a film crew spent six months filming interviews and establishing networks dedicated
to educating and empowering the survivors many of whom lost limbs as forces maimed,
pillaged, and tortured men, women and children in an effort to dominate the country.
Bottomline Productions is seeking partners to complete the production, promotion and distribution
of this documentary, as well as, other cultural materials related to the situation of rebuilding
and re-branding Sierra Leone, West Africa. If this documentary sounds like a project your company is interested in,
I look forward to hearing from you either by phone or e-mail. Thank you for your consideration and time regarding
“Rising from the ashes of war: The Re-branding of Sierra Leone”.
Sincerely,
Elijah Mothershed
